Beach Sv.Petar - Cres
Sveti Petar beach is located on the west coast of Cres island. It’s close to Valun village, but outside the inhabited area and surrounded by nature. The beach can be reached from the land and naturally from the sea, but we recommend you rent a boat or a taxi-boat. This beach is great for those who love nature and peace and quiet in general. The beach is among the more popular ones, but it isn’t as crowded as other beaches tend to be. It’s popular among yachts people, especially because of its long coast which is best seen from a small distance from the sea. If you like karst and crystalline sea, visit Sveti Petar beach. There is no shade because the shrubbery is rather short, typically for this part of the island. The main part of the beach – the one for swimming and sunbathing – is covered in mid-sized shingle, which easy to walk on and get to the sea. It’s suitable for all ages, and ideal for a whole-day stay in the nature, in the sun and by the sea. It’s up to you to bring the necessary equipment and come enjoy the beach. There are no facilities at the beach so make sure to bring enough water and food.
