Beach Blue cave Cres
The Blue cave is situated in the bay Zanja, under the town of Lubenice on the island of Cres. Blue Grota is a sea cave situated on the edge of the beach in the rock.
Entrance is a little farther from the beach, but you can enter it by swimming or sandolin. The cave is about 20 m long and has large air space. Inside the cave is a small pebble beach. Through the cracks in the rocks, light reaches which makes this cave special. During the summer, later in the afternoon, the sun is in a favorable corner and creates a special experience of playing light and water, reflecting the beautiful blue colour in different shades.
There is no shade here, because low vegetation grows along the beach, especially for this part of the coast on the island. The main part of the beach, for sunbathing and swimming, is made of medium sized pebbles. She walks easily and reaches the sea. It is suitable for all persons and growers. It is ideal for a day-long trip to nature, by the sea and in the sun. It's up to you to get well equipped and come enjoy yourself. There is no additional facilities on the beach so you can equip yourself with enough water and food.
