Traditional desserts tasting and a presentation of the "Creska rožica" cake with a musical performance will be held on May 10th at Frane Petrić Square at 10:00 AM with music performance by Trio Salvia.

Back in 1845, the first tourists visited the island of Cres and were delighted with the local gastronomy, natural beauty and hospitality of the hosts.
In honor of the great jubilee of 180 years of tourism and sweet 30 years of work of Slasice Margareta, we present the "Creska rožica" cake, prepared from local fruits that have been growing on our island for centuries. Dried figs, almonds, honey and brandy are the main ingredients of "Creska rožica" with which we want to present our island through the past, in the present and for the future. "Creska rožica" is not just a cake - it is a new gastronomic souvenir of Cres, created with the aim that visitors take with them not only the taste, but also the emotion of Cres.
