Welcome to the 40th solo exhibition of Cres painter and art teacher Koraljka Polaček.
The "Island Whisper" artworks are created during 2021 and 2022, in the technique of acrylics on canvas.
Many thanks to professor Predrag Vukovic on his beautiful preface of the catalogue, also to all sponsors and other dear people who have participated in realisation of this project.

𝒜𝒷𝑜𝓊𝓉 𝒶𝓇𝓉𝒾𝓈𝓉
Koraljka Polaček is a professional painter and art teacher.
She was born in the family of artists in 1969 in Zagreb, Croatia. In 1991, she enrolled into the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, and graduated in 1998 in the class of professor Eugen Kokot.
While still attending the Academy, Koraljka started exhibiting her paintings in collective and individual exhibitions, as well as taking part in art colonies and art/humanitarian projects.
After graduating from the Academy, she was teaching Art in elementary school in Zagreb, she also received the Europe at School Award in 2001.
From 1995 to 2003 Koraljka was exhibiting her paintings in the family atelier Marić in Baška, Island of Krk.
In 2007, Koraljka moved to Island of Cres and became a full time artist. That resulted in exploring new media such as wool painting and painting on stones.
From 2019 Koraljka is teaching Art at the elementary school in Cres. During the summer months she is exhibiting her artworks in open atelier. Her paintings are part of private collections in Croatia and abroad.
Koraljka is a member of Croatian Association of Artists HDLU.
