Creski semenj is a traditional event that combines history, customs and the lively bustle of the city. With stalls, local products, music and entertainment, the streets of Cres revive the spirit of former fairs and create a space for meetings, socializing and celebrating local traditions. During Creski semenj, people socialize and sing in the streets and taverns, and what has been produced by the hardworking hands of local people is sold in the squares and streets. Creski semenj, as the fair is called in the local dialect, and is traditionally associated with the feast of Our Lady of the Snows, was first mentioned in the Decree of the Republic of Venice on August 14, 1543. This year too, we invite you to join us and enjoy the rich offer of original island products, as well as products from our guests from all over Croatia! In addition to the fair part that will be held on the Šetalište 20. travnja, you can expect exhibitions, tournaments and competitions, concerts, a raffle, presentations and other interesting programs, as well as attractive music programs!
